A young man returns to his family home after a long absence in order to confront the major trauma of his childhood: the suicide of his brother. However, his mother, an egocentric literary critic is consumed by the world of books. His sister is pretty much wrapped up in herself and his father is a journalist and somewhat of a dreamer, in short, no one is prepared to help him.
