Synopsis

Synopsis

The Desheng Station policemen are bored and frustrated, longing for guns like TV cops. When a rabid dog bites a drunkard, policeman Yang Guoli is ordered to exterminate all dogs in his Beijing district. The unenviable task brings everyone’s stress level to a breaking point, in a hilarious escalation from the grotesque to the absurd. In this highly original cop flick, the enemy is not the usual gangster but the social system itself.
